As modern lighting is becoming one primary part in lighting application, tremendous modern lighting products sprang up in the market. LED panel light, as one of the most popular LED products, has been prevailing in residential and commercial lighting area. This article gives an overall analyses on LED panel light structural components.

1.  LED modules
To realize perfect light output, LED modules design is very important. LED panel light mainly covers two LEDs location: edge-lit plus back-lit. Back lit LED panel light works with LEDs modules placing at the front center, which directs the light straight forward. Edge lit LED panel light places the LED light source at the side of of panel that light should be re-directed onto the front viewing surface. For edge lit LED panel light, the distance between each individual LEDs can be adjusted to control the light output. Whereas, back lit LED panel light LEDs module is fixed at the back of panel light that can produce great light output.  Either edge lit or back lit, glass fiber LED modules is highly recommanded in LED modules design.

2.  Light Panel
Light panel is the most important structural part for panel light, which is called light guide plate(LGP).  The unique construction of LED light panel utilizes a large number of patented processee to creat perfect light output, which alllows light to be transmitted uniformly and evenly across the surface. Usually, PMMA light panel is applied for design.
